Satio Software Help, Themes and web browser Options

Hi all,

Just got my new Satio.
Great phone really like it, camera is great it is much quicker than the W960i.
Any how to my problem/s

The Satio Themes> Standby Themes>
There are five themes in total Finger, SE, Full, Basic, and Nav.
For some reason only the SE theme works, all other themes do not.
They do not show any short cuts, and they are un-editable.

Does any other Satio users have this trouble?

Also regarding Web use, how do you open a web link in a new page?

Hi lord arioch,
there are almost no Satio users yet. I saw one here, but he has a prototype version, not the final version.
But according to my phone, you cannot open pages in new windows or tabs. You will have to download the Opera Mini Beta brouser, which allows very nice multi tabbed brousing for touch phones. It is much more advanced than the included brouser and completely free.

About themes- other themes don't work means.. you cannot set them?
May be some display driver problem or something, try updating the software using Update Service through PC. Even if it says 'you already have the latest one' , still continue and re-install it. might clear some faults.

The only theme which worked on my Satio was the 'Sony Ericsson' theme too. But i re-installed the software through SEUS and this has seemed to fix this.

The only way i have found to use multiple pages through the Satio's browser is to open the internet and browse to a webpage. Then press the middle button (between the green and red button) to get back to the front screen. then click on the bookmarks tab and click a bookmark to open a new tab.

Hi, great to see coming up Satio users.
Check out the Opera Mini Beta brouser, it seems food for Satio. You will see in the VIDEO link that I posted in my previous reply.

well today i did an up date with seus and it sorted the problem

Seems like the satio was released with bugs, how many though?

Plugged my satio into my pc run the software and selected the phone repair option, after a minute when all as downloaded pc throws up error saying repair aborted. I will try again
if it doesnt work i will send phone back
for repair.
looked forward to having this phone
sofar im not happy with it.

Opera beta is good i recomend it.

Why did you want to repair it? Just update with SEUS

Hey all, I've been using the Satio for about a week now, here are my findings:

I have exactly the same problems with the homescreen (only the SE standby-theme seems to worked). However, the others have been working a while before they stopped working!

The webbrowser is weird indeed, but I heard that you could use the Opera Mobile browser (it's better to use Opera Mobile instead of Opera Mini because Mobile renders it better, and the screen of the satio is large enough for this, at least, that's what I've heard).

true, I heard this also yesterday. SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Service) can restore this problem. Just make sure you backup your contacts (and perhaps other stuff) using PC Suite 6.0
