 The chaps over at Pocket-lint have posted up a very nice gallery of hands-on shots of the X2. The X2 has been somewhat overlooked given the growing excitement that's building up around Rachael so it's nice to see it getting some attention. IMO it's not going to do so well. X3 will impress though.

I've been reading up on the xda forums. No one is planning on upgrading from the X1 .... Not one.
Other than the 8mp Camera theres absolutely nothing worth upgrading to .... -------------------- QUOTE Xperia X10 is amazing! Of course, all phones were pointless before the X10. I don't know why Bell even bothered. |

Nah, I don't think so. HTC and T-Mobile MDA still have the upper game on WM. Although X2 does have some nice new features, it's still not enough.

Becoz honestly its just an Xperia with MINOR upgrades. Even the processor (7200A) and motherboard (HTC Diamond motherboard) are the same as the X1 (supposedly!). To be honest, if I had the money. I would buy the X2 (being a former X1 user). I'm sure Sony Ericsson has improved the quality of materials used for the X2, also, stereo speakers seem to be quite big, so these would come in use aswell. The thing that anoyed me in the X1 was the amount of dust that gathered in the corners of the screen, and the paint slowly wearing off the keyboard.
Does the X2 need huge changes to make people choose it over the X1? I don't think so. X1 was almost perfect, now with the fixed materials, stereo speakers, bigger screen etc; X2 is almost a perfect phone. Ok, maybe they never included the new Snapdragon processor in the phone, but when i had my X1 with a custom WM6.5 ROM, it wasn't that slow; it ran quite well. I agree to it.
 But I still think that waiting for the X3 instead would be by far much better.

People who have an X1 might not upgrade but the X2 can attract new users. If you look at it in isolation, it's a pretty neat device which more or less has everything you need in a device.
