Hi,
My contract is running out and i'm looking at getting a W995 but if it doesn't support 32GB cards then it's useless to me. My question is, does the phone support a 32 GB card?

Thx

So just that I understand completely and there is no mis-understanding;
If I got this phone and bought a 32Gb M2 card it would read and support it completely?

Sorry shy.gif
But I have just done a quick search for a 32 GB m2 card and I can't find any?
Anyone know if they are even out? (possibly due out soon?)

I'm in the UK by the way.

This phone doesn't support SDHC either does it?

Looks like there aint one out yet. Possibly soon?
Not sure what to do cus my k850i supports SDHC and I can get 32gb for that now.
When they release 32gb m2 it will be very expensive anyway!

Maybe I'll get the phone and stick to the 8gb that comes with it and be patient!

WRONG ... MicroSD and M2. Both ... but not simultaneously.

1) Are not they of different technology????? (MicroSD & M2)
2) Are not 2 of them has different physical dimension???
3) can the MicroSD card be fit into same slot (M2 slot) of our mobile??? or will it damage the slot???

OR

I was talking about large memory cards in general, and since the W995 only accepts M2, I'm talking about M2 tongue.gif

Right blink.gif

I asked a similar question a few months ago about my K850i. All the specs for it everywhere say it only supported up to 4GB, however since doing research I found that due to the software or firmware (whatever; FAT 32??) it could actually support up to 32 GB unofficially and lo and behold I have an 8GB card in it working fine! rofl.gif (I have every confidence that should I put a 32 in it it would work)

Would something similar be true of the W995 i.e. specs everywhere say 'up to 16GB' but like the K850i it can actually do the up to 32 GB thing?

Sure it will work, but once again, it will not be fast.
