 Rumours are appearing online that Sony Ericsson are working on a scaled down version of Satio to be presented at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next year. The current chatter on the tubes is that it will also be S60 and feature a full touchscreen like Satio, but instead of a 12 MP camera it will sport an 8 MP camera. Apparently named Kurara (at least for the moment), the device is said to be part of the Entertainment Unlimited series. What they need is a cash cow, something like an A200/300 touchscreen phone that is cheap.
They really have their strategy a bit mixed up. These EU phones aren't 'mainstream' and won't be affordable to a lot of consumers. Knowing SE this won't as cheap. It's all good to have high end phones but cater for the market that will bring you cash. I am well aware of the growing smartphone market but you still have a lucrative market that SE is ignoring, look at the 5800- cheap and sold a lot. -------------------- It is not what you do or even how you do it but in what state of mind you do it.
