my w995 has recently been having problems. Im unsure on how to fix this one. When writing a text message and i want to put x's on the end, the phone only lets me input one, or they come out in capitals. I've master reset several times and updated the phone, but the problem still happens. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

What kind of x do yo uwant to put at the end of the message?
you mean the letter 'x'? you can type x by pressing the '9' number twice, and another x by doing the same after a second. write correctly in details what you want to ask. |

Try switching off the T9 feature when you put the X's in. If it's already off then I don't know.

Jaz,
as Kaosblade said it is true. Go to the Options when you bring the sms typing editor. Then select and go to Dictionary(T9) . Then select the 'off' button. I tried what you said, and found out that this is the problem of the T9 dictionary, because not many words start from letter x, and x after x wont give a word atall thats why the T9 prevents it. You wasted time in Master reset and Updating firmware on and on. The problem was very negligible. Try and tell what happened. |
