Hello,

I have a W580i and it is locked to Orange. (I live in the UK) I want to unlock it so I can use it on the network O2. But I don't know what files to get. I have tried already but its still locked to Orange. So if anyone could please provide me with the files I need to complete the process and unlock my phone I would be very thankful. The phone is CID53

Thanks,
Shane smile.gif

Do you have a working Orange sim to open the phone?

Good, then look for the AnyCID topic in the R+D section in order to patch qapatch. smile.gif

Have you even patched qapatch yet? Have you run executor in games folder?

Flash the phone to generic firmware, with a firmware version that is the same as a version that is in the anyCID package (see tuts and guides section on how to use JD flasher)

Then: Drag the MAIN of the firmware onto the QA maker thats inside one of the directories of JD Flasher. It should create a patch.

Upload the contents of the anyCID package that is for your firmware/platform (IE db2020) to TPA/PRESET/CUSTOM. Disconnect in usual fashion, and put your SIM back into it.

Turn on phone, wait for short please wait, then go to file manager, games, executor. Your phone SHOULD "die".

Reconnect to JD flasher using QA2020 script, (using bflash) then flash the MAIN, then drag the patch created by the QA maker to the phone. Then disconnect, and turn on the phone, and delete the executor program.

Download SIMOX auto patcher, then open that and drag the MAIN into the window (again, it will create a patch)

Reconnect to JD flasher (using QA2020 script, again in bflash) then patch in the newly created patch. Disconnect.

Put everything back. turn phone on, and your phone should be unlocked

Did you take out the battery after you patched it? Did you also disconnect correctly?

Did you flash the main before adding that patch?

Meaning AFTER you ran the executor
