Let’s start off with the Review.
On the front side of the phone is the large, stunning 2.4” TFT screen which is very nice and visible in sunlight also. On the top left & right side are the 2 gaming keys mounted which give a very quick and tactile feedback.
Attached File  3.jpg ( 59.44K ) Number of downloads: 26

In between those keys is the Secondary Camera, Light Sensor and the Earpiece.

Under the display, an ample D-pad is sided by six controls. Each is topped by a thin soft key, followed by pretty large Call (left) and End key (right).
The bottom knobs are Shortcuts on the left and clear key on the right. The styling of the navigation pad is quite elegant and the controls are adequately usable.
Attached File  9.jpg ( 51.9K ) Number of downloads: 13

The D-pad up direction also acts as a shortcut to the music player when on the homescreen, hence the music player icon on top of it.

Sliding the phone open reveals the decent 12-key alphanumeric keypad. It is utterly flat offering little tangible borders between the different rows or columns. But as you press it, you will feel that it is not at all bad, i.e. it gives a very good feedback.

The left side of Sony Ericsson Yari features nothing but the regular Fast Port.
Attached File  5.jpg ( 46.84K ) Number of downloads: 11

The right side of the handset is the top side in digicam terms. It hosts the elevated volume rocker and the two-position camera key. Here you can also find the microSD card slot, hidden under a small plastic lid.
Attached File  6.jpg ( 39.99K ) Number of downloads: 18

The bottom and the top are pretty simple with the lanyard eyelet all there is to see there.

Backstage Sony Ericsson Yari we find the 5 megapixel camera, accompanied by a LED flash. Here are also the dual loudspeaker grills, either side of the battery cover.
Attached File  8.jpg ( 46.01K ) Number of downloads: 33

The Build-Quality seems to be very good though the phone is quarterly made of plastic (the back of the slider and the border of the phone has the metal casing).
Inside the Phone:
The phone’s CPU seems to be very fast (I don’t the know the speed though).
The Phone has 4 pre-installed themes (Clarity, Cranberry White, Silver Grey, and Unlimited). And yes, it has the Latest version of the Walkman, i.e. Walkman 4.0. It has many new Styles of the music player and it has the Equalisers (sadly which cannot be set manually). Option of Stereo Widening is also available.
The Stereo Speakers and the back of the phone are very loud so there is no chance to miss a call even in a crowded place.

Coming to the camera, The Camera is very good too. The LED Flash turned out to be very good.
Here are some photos samples for you to judge its camera.

Finally, Coming to its Audio Quality. Mind it, ITS SUPERB. It beats W995 in every aspect (i.e. Audio wise and Quality also). Its very loud and clear. The Headphones provided with the set i.e. The New MH300 are also superb (they look awesome and sound very good). The Audio Quality is just impeccable. Here are the Photos of the New MH300 (nowhere on internet).

The Stand for Gesture gaming is also provided EC500.

Calling Through Yari is a non-issue (its very good and bass-y). Ringtones are loud and clear. Display is also good. Vibration is between Good & Average. That’s all for now folks. Hope you like My Yari and the Review too.
“All Comments Appreciated”.

Would call it a spin rather than a full blown review mate!
Neat write up though..
No manually adjustable equaliser seems to be a glaring omission! ohmy.gif

What is the equalizer?
Old MegaBass or you get Clear Bass like W995?

The equalisers can be set to any WITHOUT connecting headsets.(its an advantage) But on the other side we cannot set any manual Equaliser(its a disadvantage).

Edit: Accidently read W995 in-place of W595
