hi every one...i need some help....i got all d information regarding how to unlock my w580i at&t mobile......all i want to know is that my mobile imei number starts with 0 can i use this mobile after unlocking in india.......thanks in advance....tc

thnx 4 ur quick reply bro........i heard from my friend saying that if ur mobile imei number starts from 0 then d phone can only b used in US even if its unlocked. in d sense that u cant use indian mobile network like idea or vodafone in it.....is that true.......my question might be rubbish..but .plzz let me know ur valuable information

Yes, you can use it in India. I have personally used a unlocked AT&T w580i in Airtel for 3 days. It worked fine for me, but it was only for 3 days so i dont know about longer period of time. My sister is still using the phone in Bangladesh so I think it should be fine.
