FlicX™ v1.0 light effect for w995

here we go i created a light effects for w995
features
1.smooth screen flashing for 4 times on receiving SMS and continuously for calls
2.flashing white D-pad and keypad light alternatively with orange D-pad lights and side music button for both calls and sms

limitations:
couldn't implement the sms/missed call reminder by orange side LEDS and D-pad LED properly but works sometime.

put in TPA\PRESET\SYSTEM\lighteffect\systemeffects
if u don't like revert back to included original files.

help:
if anybody know the code to activate the sms/missed call reminders their credits will be much appreciated...

W995 LED ID's

LED-IDs IN .BLE EDITOR
0 = Screen
1 = White D-pad/softkeys/call keys
2 = Key/Number pad
3 = Camera/Focus button
4 = Red D-pad/softkeys/call keys
5 = side music buttons
6 = Red led light on rear next to flash

thanks for sam.forshaw for given a guide and LED ID's
and the light effects made by him.i used some of his idea.

in BLE editor

probably
0 = Screen
1 = White D-pad/softkeys/call keys
2 = Key/Number pad
if u want to find the LED IDS create a new light effet and set
only one LED ID make it to ON or blink. put it for incoming or messgae light effect and check it with make a call/sms
simple..

Well I know a way to do it but is different , just wanted to see if your's is fastest The way I know is the one I told to blacklizard

If you use this method, it will take weeks to find it may be months.
Work smart, not hard.

Glad you like it.
As of now Permanent patching can only be done on brown EROM a2 phones thats wy people converting it to brown. Bec there are some system securities disabled in brown phones.

Nice job! But I would like to change back to the original effects because I don't like the blinking continuing when I already opened a new message quickly. Unfortunatelly, I can't open your attached original files, winrar tells me "...\Original_W995_Lighteffects.rar: Unexpected end of archive".
Do you mind uploading them again?

I encountered the same problem at first. It is caused by illegal file naming inside the compressed file. There is a little trick you can do to successfully unRAR the file. Double click the RAR file and you can see the folder inside. Just rename the folder to one without"_" or "™", for example, rename it to lighteffects, and uncompress it. Then you'll get it.
