Hi,
I just got my girlfriend's old K800i which was on a different network to me so I paid a shop to unlock the phone for me. The phone worked fine for about 5 hours then it turned itself off and it has refused to turn on since. A lot of people on the internet talk about the red light flashing when you attempt to turn it on but this is not the case for me. I can hold the power button down for as long as I want and it will not turn on. If I hold c (or 2+5) down and connect the phone to my usb port, it installs the sony ericsson usb driver so I know the phone is not completely dead. So I have did some research and attempting to use xs++. I followed the xs++3.1 tutorial on this forum (http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtopic=23459) and I was offered the chance to update my CID so I said yes as per the guide. Sounds like GDFS to me. The red LED light is in the infra-red port (it should wink at you)

Pretty much everybody who has posted on the internet with this problem talks about the red light winking, but in my case there is absolutely no winking. |

How much battery did you have in it?
