Hi, I own a Sony Ericsson K800i, and I am facing a problem with the backlight that fails to light up, it all happened when I was cleaning all the parts and maybe I had spilled liquid (cleaning product) on the screen, which then I noticed that I have destroyed the LCD screen, so I purchased another screen and replaced it. Once replacing it and successfully connecting it, the screen worked, but instead the backlight stopped working as well as my keypad lights, I do not why, but I heard that it could be due to loose connections.

If someone could give me advice or tips on what to do an preferably how to fix this issue then I would be much grateful.

Many Thanks

-Nzo

Well...this is totally useless to me, all it shows is how to dismantle my phone.

And how are you going to fix it? By taking it apart and double checking everything wink.gif

You said that the new screen was working, then the LED lights and keyboard lights have gone out: could be a loose connection
