Se W810i Go To Button

n00b Group: Members Posts: 6 Joined: 2009-09-29 Member No.: 272,080	Hi All, Please forgive me if this has been posted before... there is so many topics to go through.... I have a w810i (bought from eBay) The thing is though... on the main screen there are the 3 menu options at the bottom of the screen.. correct? They are: Calls (left) Menu (middle) Go To (right) On mine all i have is Calls & Menu... the 2rd button/link just says ENTRY in a different font! Also, on my main menu, the top 2 menu's ( the 1st and 2nd) say "Online tjenste" & "Mitt abonnement" All the other menu items are in english but these. Does anyone have any ideas? I have tried flashing the phone with the latest firmware and still doesnt change anything. The phone language is set in English also. Well, i will leave the ball in your court, as you are all the experts on this one... Thanks in advance, Mike

n00b Group: Members Posts: 6 Joined: 2009-09-29 Member No.: 272,080	Hi Cchaos, Im unsure where to download the latest FS for the w810i You probably have guessed already im a bit new to this. I am confident in doing it, just not got the software. By custom pack, i presume you mean the custom flash menus yes? I have downloaded a couple of them to try. If that is what you mean, should i use Far or XS++ ? I did try to add a custom pack using Far before, but it wouldnt pick up my phone. Use this guide: http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtopic=15779 Dont bother using FAR: its not exactly newbie friendly. The custom pack tells the phone what languages to use and a few other things - only flash menu related wise is it saying whether it can show flash menus or not. So as you can (probably) tell, this is nothing to do with flash menus. More like whether your phone works or not. Helpful "beginners" guide: http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtopic=29591 Personally, I ~~dont~~ didnt use the the latest firmware for w810. I stuck to R4EA031 as I wanted to use some patches. I have the main firmware version: R4DB005 File system: R4ED001 Custom CDA: Europe 3 CDA102494/77 If i use XS++ to Flash it with the above settings, should that work? Thought i best ask, before i brick it. Cheers
