Flashing And Unlocking K800i Not Successful Options

Hi

Yest I flashed my k800i with K800_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_WI_RED52.mbn and its resp FS. I also generated the vkp file for unlocking it. But the flashing gives a BLOCK READ ERROR if i dont select the "BYPASS DB2020 Security". And if i select that option then it says "set_gdfs_props failed, exiting" and my phone doesnt start.

I also tried flashing it with k810 MAIN and FS with the resp vkp file but tat also dint help.
Please help me out.

Not sure what the problem is but make sure the battery is fully charged and reflash main + FS and start the bypass procedure again then post any logs here.

BTW If you're looking to apply more patches other than the unlock patch, you're better of flashing R8BF003.

Actually my phone was initially Vodafone branded. But then i had got it unlocked from outside. Now this time i tried flashing it myself. I had flashed the MAIN and FS using a generic firmware. Before i did the flashing, my phone status was as below

Hope im not doing something wrong.

The bypass procedure while applying the vkp file asks whether some files do not match. so continue or not.
but once i continue the vkp file is written but then next time I connect the phone it says "set_gdfs_props failed, exiting" which is very strange!

Do not continue with a mismatch warning!

As long as you make the qapatch and unlock vkp from the same main as flashed you should be ok.
