Lighteffects for the W995

I have created some lighteffects for the W995.
They are for incoming calls and incoming messages

Version 1
Incoming Call (mt_call.ble): red d-pad led's and side walkman led's flash
Incoming Message (messaging.ble): red d-pad led's and side walkman led's flash 12 times

Version 2
Incoming Call (mt_call.ble): same as version 1
Incoming Message (messaging.ble): red d-pad led's and side walkman led's flash 6 times

Version 3
Incoming Call (mt_call.ble): screen slowly flashes in addition to the red d-pad and walkman led's
Incoming Message (messaging.ble): screen slowly flashes and red d-pad and walkman led's flash 6 times

I have attempted to get the led's to flash after a missed call until it is looked at in the calls menu or to carry on flashing once a message has been received and only stop once it has been read.
Unfortunately I have not found a way of getting this to work, I don't think it is possible.

I have no idea if they would work, as long as you have the original to re-upload if they don't work I can't see any problem, but don't hold me responsible if anything goes wrong.

1. When call comes it would be good if the display blinks slowly.
2.side light can be on for message and missed call until it has been read.

1. Should be able to make the screen blink, I'll try when I get the chance

2. I have tried to make the side light stay on after a message or missed call, but so far no luck, if I succeed I'll post my result

I have attempted to get the screen to flash, and I can get it to work if the slider is open, but not when the slider is closed, all I am able to do with the slider closed is either have the screen flash once then go off or stay on without flashing.

If anyone has any suggestions as to where I may be going wrong please let me know.

are u getting the screen flashing for both closed and open position. but only thing is u will get the flashing only after the display goes to sleep??
thats ok for me...

here u need to note that, the screen OFF time should be less than ON time.so that we can see the incomming call's number easily.

please let me know once finished.

also one suggesstion the for SMS the orange light blinking pulses can be reduced to 10 or 8.

I am only sucessfully getting the screen to flash when the slider is open.

There seems to be an 'Unknown' command in the file that detects if the slider is open or closed. If the slider is closed all I have been sucessful in doing is making the screen either light up and stay lit up. Or I can make it light up and then go off but not come on again. It doesn't seem to make any difference what I do with regard to the screen settings these are the only 2 things I can get to happen.

I have noticed that the lights flash for too long,I have been trying to find the best amount of flashes, once I have done this I will upload a new version in the first post stating the changes.

If anyone knows or has any ideas how to find out what the 'Unknown' commands are in the lighteffects fille in BLE editor that would be appreciated.

EDIT:

Version 2 is uploaded in first post, there are changes to the amount of flashes for incoming messages, no change to incoming calls.

Version 3 now uploaded in first post, with flashing screen for calls and messages.

I am new around here so after some searching havent found anything so i am gonna ask here:Are there also some other light effects to upload that are like used while in walkman or something else,instead just when receiving calls and msgs?

shammy. thats good work.and thanks for accepting my request.
the screen blinking rate could be little bit faster starting with screen off.
also the blinking colud be interrupted by hitting any button for messgae or call.
screen off could be increased very lil bit.

Glad you like the update, I'll have a look at the speed of the flashing etc, but no promises I'll get it to work, or when I'll get round to it as I'm busy for the next few weeks. Alternatively you could have a look yourself, it's not that difficult. Don't think it is possible to stop the blinking for a message, but I think when you answer a call it should automatically stop.

Thanks for the W910i Lighteffects I will have a look and see what I can do with getting the flashing stopped.

As for how to edit, have a look at the following topic

Ble Editor Look at post 190 for led-id's for W995

If you set up the ble editor with the W995 led-id's and then look at the original and modded lighteffects you should get the idea of how to change them yourself, it's quite difficult to explain how it works but when you see it in front of you it should make more sense. When I started doing it the guides on the above post confused me a bit, but once you have the ble editor open with a lighteffects in it it made a lot more sense.

If you need any more help just say.

In the above topic where it says in the first post about the repeat command and skeep command, it should be 'skip' not skeep, hopefully that might make the guide a little clearer.

EDIT:

I have looked at the W910 lighteffects, and can't find anything in them that would stop the flashing by silencing the call, I expect it must be something else within the phone, and not part of the lighteffects.
