Hello,
I recently got a G705 and I like it very much but the only thing is that I don't like are the programs/shortcuts/themes the phone operator provides. The Operator Name is Cosmote which replaces the right button shortcut with "myview" and adds stuff like: connect to the internet to download new rings for your phone and stuff it also adds themes, ringtones, sounds which I won't use and I don't like. What I really want it to flash it so all the above stuff will be removed and it will act as a normal G705. Also what the advantage would be converting it in a Walkman phone? |

Just debrand your phone and you'll be happy and have a normal phone without your operator's junk on it.
Turning it into a W715 is something you should do. You lose nothing, and gain the Walkman features. Works great!

If you want to change right softkey shortcut alone use softkey hook method. Or if you want walkman features just flash it.

Alright I flashed the phone using A2 Uploader and the latest firmware from seusers.com
Now the phone boots and asks for Phone Key lock I press the code and just a little before it boots the main screen A message appears and says: Error format. Contact your network operator or with your support center. (It says it in Greek) What should I do now? I don't believe I bricked because if I did it wouldn't start Maybe because it was loading the operator's stuff it needs to be reconfigured I guess... Please link any guides, thanks! |

I use English for the phone's language and write with T9 Greek |

I think you'll need 'ADRIATIC' FS and custom.

Thanks... Can you redirect me to more customizations? I heard you can increase the Camera's Quality, make it a walkman phone and stuff Cosmote can kiss my ass goodbye~! |

You can flash to w715 to gain Walkman. For camera and acoustics drivers have a look in the drivers section here.
