Hi blacklizard! Could you please make a display driver for w995. You can find the thread here.
http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtop...mp;#entry556380
Or will you tell me how to do it by myself that will help us a lot please.
Actually I want the display driver with pure white with little increased saturation. And mainly to add blue color hue some more. Will you do it?

V1

  • Slightly reduced yellowish
  • Slightly brighter display

V2
31 August 2009

  • Slightly reduced yellowish
  • Slightly brighter display
  • increased contrast (5%)
  • black are blacker and white are whiter
  • Faster boot up time( the phone will turn on faster)

init_seq=%d 09 00 D0 01;

Value from C905.

Feedback are highly appreciated.

Fantastic, it really works faster and better, i tried it on my w705 and it feels like w910 display, good contrast and no yellowish, V2 is perfect for me, what i wanted
but only one little bug: when i'm running flash wallpapers or flash menus it sometimes corrupts the top of the screen for half and a second, entering or getting out the menus tongue.gif
For the rest it's very good, keep on workin'!!!

Thanks for using this driver.. I really appreciate it..

About the bugs, u tried with other menu or wallpaper as i don't face that problem..

BTW, blacklizard™ Display Driver for W705 V2 will be the final one for w705

but the development will still continue, don't worry..

its supports w995 also.. bec both the codes same..
and sorry for this question!! did u just exported value to w705 driver from c905 driver? or u know the function of those lines??
the white is somewhat ok now. but saturation needs more,, it lost the saturation. colors are bit washed out.
changing values in init_seq=%d 09 00 D0 01; doesn't makes the display ON.
but changing values in below bold line affects the contrast.
init=%gpio1603 %d $ 11 $ %w80 %d
$ F0 $ 5A 5A

if i change the %a--> 5B or whatever gives the dark much contrast display... so i can't fine tune it...
so. i want to know what values responsible for what!! i anyone know plesae tell us..

Yah, i've used the value from c905, i ald state it in my first post, when i went tru the code in original W705, found out its a mess, if i want to fix the value one by one, i wont succeed in doing that as no one excatly know the parameter for those function, i find the hex in C905 are way better and have decent color balance.. So imported la..

Work smart not hard, that why i suggest to get all db3210 phone display driver and do comparation..

BTW, "init_seq=%d 09 00 D0 01" is my value, not taken from C905 but i dont noe how it can be same and does %a exist?

Mind sending me ur modified driver?

i want the increased saturation on colors.... blue needs to be lil more....
here is my driver.. there are two drivers one is with correct display levels but less saturation,,,
another one with too extreme contrast and saturatio... i want to reduce it... if i change any value
in
init=%gpio161616 %d $ 11 $ %wA %d
$ F0 $ 5A 5A
gives extreme contrast
and
init=%gpio161616 %d $ 11 $ %wA %d
$ F1 $ 5A 5A
the above code gives too much brightness... have a look

EDIT:
download the attachment again. i made a lil wrong..

$F1$ dont change, 5A 5A is the value you need to change..

Anyway changing these value dosent help anithing..it will ruin the driver as this value corespondent to other values..

Gotta off9 ald.. See you guy afta my exam tommorow..Hope to get good news from u you guys.. There is no rush k? Do it slowly and smartly.. cool.gif

Your eyes see the differences between the original and modded driver?

I tried display driver modded by BrAzzUkA. My eyes do not see a difference.
