W705 Display Drivers, Is the phone forgotten by W995 and C905 Options

1) I read the W995 display driver forum here and same is case with the W705. Its colours appear to be more on yellowish side rather than white appearing totally white (it appears yellowish).

2) Is there any way to DISABLE the light sensor on the top of the the phone as it keeps disturbing the display (sometimes low or sometimes bright (i know how it works)).

3)Cam-driver of this phone needs hell lot of improvements....i see everybody engaged in W995 and C905 only....please guys help us also.....please pay attention to the above mentioned problems and hope to seek help from you soon.

lol yes...W995 has taken over the forum...
and W705 is the worst affected here..
sadly i am not a developer...so cant really help you out...

You guys are totally wrong..

1) W995 will cost to make it patchable.
W705 will cost no penny to make it patchable.

2) If W995 is made patchable, you cant update it with SEUS
While W705 doesn't face this problem as it can be coneverted from BROWN > RED and RED > BROWN anytime for free

What does MODDED stuff does this both phone have ?

W995
1) Camera Driver
2) Lighteffect
3) Acoustics
4) Layouts


W705
1) Superb Display Driver
2) Lighteffect
3) Acoustics
4) Camera Driver (Coming Soon )
4) Layouts (Coming Soon )

As conclusion, both phone have fair attention from modder.

BTW, W705 have more patches than W995 and C905

ps: W705 users, do bump topic related to W705 sometime

what i mean to say is things like acoustics, camdriver, etc are available in a larger variety for W995 at the moment than W705...
plus patches are for R1GA026 which is not yet available for all...(this is anyways secondary)
and as a modder, i guess you are the only one working for W705...good work though

W705 display driver already done by blacklizard and there are lack of information over it so couldn't make it better.
Also w705 camera is not an autofocus camera so obviously there should be least development bec we can't pull any miracle from an fixed focus cam. Also I know there are some moded camera drivers available for w705 at esato.com so try searching.
Of course you have free patching method.
And paying money is not fate for w995 its fate for CID53 if w705 is cid53 then you should pay for patch.

Well, yes acoustic are platform specific, i agree with that.
Did u tried W995 farfield on other A2 phones? Will it work?
Well the answer is NO.

And there alot of Farfield available but it just destroy the sound quality if used on W705. We can use it but the sound quality is worse with alot of crackle. blacklizard™ XTreme™ Farfield are optimized for W705

W705 wont need any modded PHF file as the original PHF file are just superb, better than any other available modded PHF file.
About the display driver, I'm not going to release the data sheet. Sorry about that.

Well, is there any CID52 W995? Well ATM, is there any CID53 W705, there is a chance that SE might pull a CID53 update to W705 via SEUS. Who knows.

About the camera, will comment after finishing with the driver

since you are using W705, you must b aware of the amount of blur this phones camera gives on even the slightest of a shake.
So i would recommend very fast shutter speed.

yes i just found one modded camdriver for W705, and i dint like it....
and neither do i like the original one.

now many people say that since it is a fixed focus camera, dont expect miracles, its bounded to be bad.
yes i agree that it wont be high quality stuff, infact i am satisfied with the quality of image but only if your hand is rock still which is like once in a 100 pics..especially for macro shots...
because of this problem it feels as if the camera is of no use in my cell.

i hope this would help you blacklizard on creating the camdriver and even other modders who may wish to may be...

Attention to all w705 user at least u guys r lucky somebody care abt w705 and working on it's drivers/patches but we w902 users r very unlucky cuz nobody is working to mod w902

I think everything except for camdriver and lighteffects should work for you too from W995 and W705...
