My SE W705 recently had some problems. The first was my applications being automatically deleted or lost somehow and the second was my phone giving me a message (configuration error. Please contact your network operator or service centre.) which is displayed directly after I enter the PIN number. Once this message is displayed i can not use the phone for anything but emergency calls. No Menu, No camera etc. The keypad seems to become unresponsive other than the numbers.
Over the past two days I've been rummaging through various forums and downloading various MAIN (W705_R1DA035_MAIN_GENERIC_RK_RED52.mbn), FS (W705_R1DA035_FS_HUTCH-HK-A_RED52.fbn) and Custpack (W705_1221-2813_R9A_O2_United_Kingdom) files ( These are the files I am currently trying to flash with and I chose that Custpack as i knew that any United Kingdom file would have English in it). I have gotten myself to a point where my phone will connect to XS++ V3.1 however it says, when I choose to flash the phone, I get the folowing. 18:07:17| ~~~~~~~~~~ Custpack information ~~~~~~~~~~ 18:07:17| Custpack: AMERICA_2 (CDA102460/101) (K510) 18:07:17| Generic(non-branded) custpack: Yes 18:07:17| Allowed languages: en, pb, xl, 18:07:17| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 18:08:15| Sorry, your phone is NOT SUPPORTED 18:08:15| Error: Cannot send flash loader 18:08:15| Error: Flashing failed 18:08:17| Disconnected... Unplug the phone I am assuming this means i have the wrong custpack. If this is so please will someone advise me as to where I can find myself the correct one? I bought the phone in South Africa (If the location in which the phone was bought is relevant). Secondly I read somewhere that the MAIN and FS files need to correspond the the DB number of your phone. Where can i find this number? If I was wrong and the custpack is not the problem please could someone help me solve whatever it is that's causing all this fuss. Please, if anyone can help me with this it would be greatly appreciated! Life's rough bar a phone as i'm sure everybody on this forum would know. Kable. |
