W995 Configuration Error On Login, Please help me fix/reflash phone Options

Hi,
I tried install something called Facebook Homescreen. Now when i login I get "Configuration error. Contact network operator or servicecenter." What do i do to fix this?? I can't use my phone

Can i reflash the firmware or something? SE update app just says I have the latest fw. Ive got the v35.

This is a W995. please reply asap if anyone know how to help me.

Download A2 tool, Download custpack for your language (W995 don't exist so take C905 since it DB3210 to) upload the files into tpa/preset/custom

This is what i intalled Facebook Homescreen, I did not like it so I simply removed the files again. That produced the error. Now I would just like my phone back to all defaults.

Please help me.

Ok, I understand. Where do I download this custpack for my langauge (Norwegian, Europe)? I can't find it.

Norweigan is Nordic, so go to seusers.com and register and look in C905 section

Having read through this post I thnik I know the answer to the question I am about to ask, but could someone just confirm that I am correct.

I wish to debrand my W995 which is currently branded to 3 UK network, I have found the following firmware files on SE-USERS which I believe are correct:

W995_R1EA028_FS_WESTERN-EUROPE_RED53

W995_R1EA028_MAIN_GENERIC_HI_RED53

However I am not sure which custom pack to use, there are no W995 ones and Jock stated above to use C905 ones instead as it is DB3210.

If I use one of the generic ones, am I right in thinking that I would need to download all the required settings from my network provider?
Would the 3 United Kingdom custom pack install all the settings for my network or does it install the branding?
I someone could tell me which one of the custom packs to use I would be grateful, as there are two generic and two 3 UK ones.

Appologies if I am asking obvious questions, but I have only just started playing around with firmwares and as I have only just got this phone I don't want to ruin it.

By the CDA generator and SEUS I take you mean by creating a customize_upgrade.xml and then reflashing with SEUS?

Do you know if it is possible to re-brand using this process?

Create new textdocument and paste this:

CODE

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>

         <created-by>CodeClaw</created-by>
      </info>
</customization>

then name it customize_upgrade.xml, now upload the xml to tpa/preset/custom/ with A2 uploader
now start phone and let it go to standby when it's done turn it off and do a regular update using sony ericsson update service,

Yeah, or you could just edit the one that got generated to the correct numbers eg for my w595 (which is on orange in the uk):
1213-2518 R7A

To find out the current CDA you need to access the service menu (>*<<*<* - only way to access this "hidden" menu), service info, software info and scroll down to Customization

Just an update I've debranded via customize_upgrade.xml process and the phone all works fine, so much better without the 3 branding.
