My k800i always needs recharging everyday. Normal usage 3G off and 50% brightness. Patch installed is only java permission patch and quick access patch no elves, Stock drivers except camera driver. But it really drains faster. Although battery is only Class A, I want to make sure if it is a battery issue or grounded unit... WHat are the signs of grounded/shorted unit

hmmm, interesting. I have had a problem like that before. My k800i used to only last 1-2 days. I tried using the battery from my bro's P990i and now i could use for almost a week of music and camera before needing charging. Try a new battery cuz im pretty sure its a battery issue. Hope this helps...

I have to charge my K800 every day now. Going to buy a new battery soon as its 2 years old now so I'd get another, I'm sure you'll be fine after that and nothing to do with shorting/grounding. smile.gif
