W810i Had An Incident With A Washing Machine., Can I fix it? |

Ok, so I left my W810i in my jeans then put them in the wash. I left it for a bit, tried to start it up and nothing happened. I presumed it was dead so I just left it.
Recently I have dug it up and stuck it into the mains, a red light flickers where I think the In-fa red thing is. I have half dismantled it and I don't have a screw for the screen. Have you tried turning it on since putting it on charge?

See if you can borrow a battery that is fully charged, and see if anything (inc the infrared light) lights up

XD, yeah um the phone has been drying for like a year. Dry yet? I think so.

Download XS++ 3.2, then run it, click Connect, turn of the... Yeah, right, you don't have to turn it off, while it can't be turned on, do you? ^^' Press C on a phone's keypad and insert the cable. And check if some little thingies called "letters" appear in a window on a left.

Try spraying the mainboard with WD-40 if another battery doesn't make the phone work, though be careful not to spray or get any WD-40 on the microphone at the bottom of the phone, I've found for some reason it tends to stop them from working!
It's not a 100% method of getting a phone to work, but I've revived a couple of water damaged phones this way. -------------------- |

The motherboard is under the screen. >_> Also, I doubt its a battery problem because the phone won't turn on even if I plug it into the mains. The one I've got feels all like there's air inside the packaging.
