I Need Help "w810i Flash Menü With Setool2lite" Options

Hello I need help Iwould like to flash my w810i menü with setool2lite. Can you say me what I need to flash the w810i menü. And as I make with setool2lite. I hope you understand what I want. My English it to go. I thank you already in advance for the answers.

If you merely want to upload a menu then use FSX in XS++

With XS++ I have not work I have only with setool2lite work. I was already a setool2lite patch loaded onto my W810i. I would like to flash my w810i only with setool2lite. I hope you can help me.

So you want flash menus

Well is your phone branded or unbranded first?

If its branded, i recommend you debrand so it'll be uniform all the way through

Heres a quick tutorial:

1. Make sure the drivers are installed (If not, install SEUS - Sony Ericsson Update Service)
2. Download the correct firmwares (I don't know which version you want and where to get w810 firmwares, so ask someone else on se-nse )
3. Flash the firmwares using Setool2-lite
4. After flashing, run your phone once, set everything up
5. Reconnect to Setool2-lite, start file system
6. navigate to tpa/preset/system/desktop/flash and upload all your flash .swfs there
7. Then turn phone on and transfer themes..

Really sorry if this is confusing.. I haven't used setool2-lite in over a year...

So feel free to ask for clarification

You can't use SETool2lite to upload files to the FS. The menus are called flash menus but you don't 'flash' them to the phone like you would with firmware.

*.swf files are uploaded to tpa/preset/system/desktop/flash with XS or FAR and JDFlasher.

Oh, thanks for the clarification.. Looks like you HAVE to use XS++. no other choice.

You can actually, but you must make sure its in a zip file with the directories created inside the zip file. Pain in the rear end if you want my opinion

As for help with files: I will help you later: Im using someone elses laptop at the moment and finding it too fiddly to go searching

Why do you think a2 uploader can upload custom packs as zip files?

Probably could do the same thing as setool2lite

Quick guide:

Uncompress main and FS.

Backup everything on your phone! (use my phone explorer to back up text messages etc). Take out sim and memory card. Make sure the battery is at 100% charge before doing this:

Start setool2lite

In Files, click on ADD and we load the FS (*.fbn) and the MAIN (*.mbn) files

In MISC files we add the custom files

Click on FLASH. Flashing should start, and finish. (elapsed XXXX seconds should show when done)

Reinsert SIM and memory card. Turn on phone. Please wait should show. After a while it should start up as normal
