W610i Unlock, Help, Need help unlocking my w610i Options

Right so i want to unlock my w610i and most of the information i've found about doing this is from 2007 and all of it states that unlocking a cid 53? is only possible by paying.

So I did pay for it over at www.seunlock.dk and well it didn't work keeps giving me an error "0x889C690F"
I turned to support and they haven't responded. So i did some more research and well it all came down to the cid 53 problem.. After identifying the phone with setool 2 lite i got this info:

So why two different CIDs?

I haven't had a phone now for 1.5 weeks and its killing me so please help me resolve this issue.. i've spent over £35 trying to unlock that thing and that's about the same as the cost of that damn thing..

I assume that you can access the games menu?

Basically: Back up all game apps contacts etc etc. If the phone isnt genric, flash it with a genric main FS and custom pack - use FAR and JD flasher (test6 with all the add-ons)

Next, search for anyCID. Download, and follow the instructions in the first post (thoiugh I would flash with the main rather than a REST file). Apply QA patch, download SIMONXautopatcher, and run it. Drag the main into the window and save the produced *.vkp file to somewhere safe/easy to access for FAR.

Connect via QA script and patch in the produced file.

Done!

Two CIDs: Ones for the EROM, the other is for OTP (which is hardware and wont change)

If you take your time and do everything correctly then there's no reason why it shouldn't work.

darn getting the error : PutFiles(putfile(putfile_flash(flashbabe(header(se nd header error 1b)))))

witch means the firmware is bad :/ any idea of what i need and where to get it?

update:

i've tried several firmware now and i keep getting the same error.. and the only thing google tells me is that the firmware is bad thus the error.. gee

Just had to restart FAR a couple of times and now its working. phew thought i was out of luck

Okay really stuck now.. When ever i try and launch bflash in jdflasher i get this error "setdirectory<setdir<setmode<doscript<run<gethello<IOusb::getblock<time_exeed>>>>>>"

I think the problem is obvious here. My phone starts when ever i launch bflash?

When i connect to jdflash, the insert usb hold C part, it aint starting itself. But when i launch bflash the phone turns on?
And it gives me that USB message about not pulling out the cable or something

well yeah didnt really understand the first part..

1) use mkrest to make rest for your fw
2) extract contents of {yourplatform}.zip and {yourphone}/{firmware}.zip to your phone
3) turn your phone on and run games/executor
4) reinsert battery

i know how to make the rest file but the 2 and 3 step are the ones i stuck at :/

Right lets clear some things up.

1) download anycid (its a zip file with loads of other zip files)
2)Ignore the mkrest as I prefer to use the main on db2020 (read JD flasher advanced usage - tuts section)
3)In your case: extract the db2020.zip to a folder, and w610/ the firmware you are running (if its there: if not flash the firmware to one that is there).zip place inside the same folder as where you extracted the db2020.zip. Replace the QA2020 script with the one in anycid
4) upload the extracted contents of anyciod to TPA/PRESET/CUSTOM
5) turn on the phone, go to games, and run excutor
6) Connect via QA2020 script. Enter bflash. Flash the MAIN, then add the QA patch.
7) Disconnect in the usual manner, then you should be able to enter bflash with the qa2020 script without using the excutor and therefore can be deleted from the games folder (if you want) but add the unlocking patch and it should be unlocked.

oh that helped a lot, thank you very much. How ever I can not access the phone seeing as its locked to another provider than mine. I could try and find some one with the correct provider. But is there no other way?

What I would try there is finding out what network the phone was originally on and buying a sim for it. If you cant find out, then use a paid service to unlock the phone (which I think might be perminent unlock but not sure) and then patch in the QA patch (which is made by dragging the main to the QA maker - forgot to say that earlier)

First thing i did was to try out a paid service, Seunlock.dk‏, using the Ultimate Unlocker but it keept giving me an error message and support haven't been any helpful.

Okay seems like they are going to give me some sort of code now. Hope that helps
