Bluetooth Not Working Properly After Updated.(sony W580i)

Hi,

Am new to this Forum.

Recently i updated my sony w580i mobile from (Sony Ericsson - Support - W580i - Keep your product software up-to-date
) sony ericsson update application.

since then am facing bluetooth problem, my mobile only able to connect through short range..my bluetooth working like infrared.

i dont knw what was my previous software version.


Can anyone help me what could i do now?

u can download a suitable firmware from this website www.seusers.com and flash it manually and see if its restored. and since you have updated your phone, its likely that your phone will be in CID53. (you can check this by connecting your phone to setool and seeing the log)

can u elaborate more abt suitable firmware? which version i should download?

i treid to run setool ..getting error like this:
File corrupted. this program has been manipulated.

and XS++ this model doesnt exists.

wat i do?

u see if you are interested in patching stuffs, this firmware is suggested since it has more patches, W580 SW-R8BE001
visit www.seusers.com for your phone mobile, mostly the last firmware listed is the latest, most likely bug free, and youer mobile is not operator locked right??

problem still exists...bluetooth only able to connect through short range..Cms angry.gif


is that mean my hardware is damaged.. ohmy.gif
