Sorry for being such an amateuer I've only been flashing for a week or so, got a w850i successfuly upgraded to cid52 and generic red52 R1KG001 forware but I'm having trouble getting the quick access patch to apply successfully.
Heres what happens when I follow the process: CODE CID52 BYPASS PROCEDURE STARTED Processing part1... CSloader version: 070410 1557 HANCXC1250562_DB2020_CSLOADER_R3A009 Processing part2... Processing part3.... BOOTROM MODE DETECTED OTP LOCKED:1 CID:49 PAF:1 IMEI:3528260 CERT:N/A FLASH CID:52 COLOR:RED LDR:061201 1314 HANCXC1329129_DB2020_FLASHLOADER_R2A005 Flash ID check:897E Flash props sent ok REMOVE CABLE FROM PHONE REMOVE BATTERY FROM PHONE, THEN INSERT IT BACK THEN PRESS "READY" HOLD "C" BUTTON AND ATTACH PHONE CID52 BYPASS PROCEDURE FINISHED ChipID:9900,EMP protocol:0301 BOOTROM MODE DETECTED Speed:921600 Trying to launch embedded bootloader... embedded flashloader not responds ! Elapsed:383 secs. For some reason it fails to continue flashing the main and applying the patch, the main file is present and correct. So I thought right I'll flash the main and apply the quick access patch myself. Then this: CODE ChipID:9900,EMP protocol:0301 BOOTROM MODE DETECTED Speed:921600 OTP LOCKED:1 CID:49 PAF:1 IMEI:3528260 CERT:N/A FLASH CID:52 COLOR:RED LDR:061201 1314 HANCXC1329129_DB2020_FLASHLOADER_R2A005 Flash ID check:897E Flash props sent ok writing C:\Program Files\Setool2lite 1.11\qamaker\W850_R1KG001_MAIN_GENERIC_CY_RED52.mbn CURRENT FLASH FILE CID:52 SSW uses complete hash, hash len is:9200 Will flash 460 blocks... SSW loading returns:0 Going to execute VKP script.... Enable alternative security bypass !!! Starting to process VKP patch script: C:\Program Files\Setool2lite 1.11\qamaker\quick_access_W850_R1KG001.vkp VKP script loaded OK. Lines: 1637 Patch structure created OK. Determining blocks to read... New block #0000 added: $44140000 New block #0001 added: $45CC0000 Blocks selected OK. Reading blocks: 2 Block @ $44140000 read error. Have only: 00000000 bytes Elapsed:467 secs. The main flashed fine but an error on the quick access, so then I try writing just the quick access script: CODE Going to execute VKP script.... ChipID:9900,EMP protocol:0301 BOOTROM MODE DETECTED Speed:921600 OTP LOCKED:1 CID:49 PAF:1 IMEI:35282601052604 CERT:N/A FLASH CID:52 COLOR:RED LDR:061201 1314 HANCXC1329129_DB2020_FLASHLOADER_R2A005 Flash ID check:897E Flash props sent ok Starting to process VKP patch script: C:\Program Files\Setool2lite 1.11\MISC EDIT\quick_access_W850_R1KG001.vkp VKP script loaded OK. Lines: 1637 Patch structure created OK. Determining blocks to read... New block #0000 added: $44140000 New block #0001 added: $45CC0000 Blocks selected OK. Reading blocks: 2 Block @ $44140000 read error. Have only: 00000000 bytes Elapsed:186 secs. Same again, so I tried applying a patch with the 'quick access' box checked just to make sure it was not functioning and got this: CODE Going to execute VKP script.... ChipID:9900,EMP protocol:0301 BOOTROM MODE DETECTED Speed:921600 Trying to launch embedded bootloader... embedded flashloader not responds ! Any ideas on this? It's not the end of the world but I wouldn't mind applying a few patches, if anyone could help it would be most appreciated. Tried it a few times now but to no avail. Also can anyone tell me if I have to keep the 2+5 (C doesn't seem to work on my phone) held all the way through the flashing process? |

Are you sure you save the quick access vkp in 'ANSI' format?

...and saved in ANSI format. Yes? Repeated the procedure last night to check , yep saved in ANSI format. Also tried JDFlasher as an alternative but got some kind of error (Red pop up) as the phone was connecting. Had the same thing with XS++ reads part of my phone information and does not fully connect. SeTool's the only thing that I've got to cooperate with my phone so far. |
