Se W610i R6 Firmware Options

hi all i dont see any mod packs for the se w610i r6 firmware in the download section it would be great if i find one and if i change the software using xs++ will the cid 52 change to cid 53???

First, this is in the wrong section. You should of posted this in the newbie forum (though a mod can move this into that forum for you)

Second: XS++ will only change your CID if your phone is CID49 or below (it will ask if you want to script to CID52, and since most patches are for CID52/CID53 I would recommend it)

If your phone is already CID52, then you dont get any prompts, and XS++ will not script your phone to CID53

If your phone is CID53 then XS++ will regonise the phone, but you will not be able to use XS++ to flash, FS work or back up the GDFS. You will have to use FAR and the JD flasher plugin to flash, and use the anycid patching method to patch the phone.

As for mod packs: they all should work with your phone if they contain new menus, flash menus and themes, layouts and patches. Just make sure that the patches are for your firmware version (CID53 patches are the same as CID52)

for my opinion, the CID will change or upgrade if you use SEUS, because i already have some trouble because my CID upgrade from CID52 to CID53 because of SEUS, but it is no longer problem, coz, i have the K550i@W610i with CID53 fully patched,
