Installing Elfs On K800 R8bf003, do i need to patch my phone?

i wanted to install elfs and i was wondering if i needed to patch my phone in order to do that as i have been unable to patch my CID 53 phone. the tutorial on elfpack says to install two patches elfpack and elf lib. where do i download it?

the tutorial on patching CID 53 was a bit confusing to me. it would have been better if there was a noob friendly tutorial.

Basically, Any CID patching isn't noob-friendly tongue.gif. Just make sure you follow the instructions precisely

i'll try to patch my phone and hopefully i'll do it rite! one question though will i have to go through the whole process again if i try to install new patches after some time or will it be easy as in CID 52 phones?

Once you have installed the QAPatch, then patching is easy: Just select QA2020 in JDF then BFlash then copy vkps. The tricky part is applying the QAPatch but once thats done its a breeze. smile.gif

i copied customize_upgrade and executor.jar but when i tried to copy executor.b in tpa\preset\custom it showed the following error:
error file not found.
cannot find executable file 'phzlpc'
what do i do?

when i ran executor from games, the SE logo appeared for a while and phone turned on. then i turned off the phone re inserted the battery and connected to FAR using qa2020. when i selected bflash it showed this errorAttached File  1.JPG ( 71.3K ) Number of downloads: 10

When you run Executor from games the phone should turn off automatically. And you are using the AnyCID qa2020 script right?

yeah i copied the qa2020 from the zip file i downloaded and put that in Far/Plugins/jdflasher/scripts.
the phone seemed like it would turn off when i ran executor but it restarted.
