Patching K810i Upgraded From K800i Options

i downloaded a file called quick_access_K810_R8BA024.vkp from http://iprotebe.cz/. can i use this to patch my k810i CID52?
if yes how do i do it ?
if no what files i will need?

i am now familiar with using FAR so is it possible to use that for patching? i read somewhere that SETool2lite cannot apply larger patches.

Yes, SETool can't apply large patches over a certain number of blocks (can't remember exactly the number! )

ok now let me get this straight. i need to make a quick access patch from my main file. now since i have downloaded a quick access .vkp for k810i can i use that. becoz the tutorial says i will need part1, part2, part3, part4 files.


i am unable to download these files. what do i do?

Hmm. To be honest I've always used SETool for the db2020 bypass + QAPatch applying and JDF for applying all other patches. So it does indeed look like you need that file, but the link is down.

Are you not familiar with SETool2lite, imo its more user friendly. Use that for the bypass and qapatch then use JDF in future.

ok will do that my man. and i found some patches for my phone but they r codes. how to use them? like i got this one:

SETool2lite can be found on TopSony.

To use the vkp, just copy into notepad, save as all files and save as *.vkp making sure you save in ANSI format.

BTW Make sure you download v1.11

everything u get from the source including the starting things, but those will be commented so ot ll be no problem, file name is your convenience

So yes i finally patched my phone!
now i got 2 questions:
1. can i get walkman in my k810i? is it free?
2. i wanted to install camdriver in my phone and i downloaded one. it had this file camdriver0. when i looked in my phone i found that it had two files camdriver0 and camderiver1. should i delete both the files before installing the new one or do i need to delete only camdriver0 and keep the camdriver1 file?

You can't get a real Walkman only similar. Check k790/k800/k810 patches thread.
Camdriver0.dat is the main camera, camdriver1.dat is the video call camera.

i found the patch but i don't think we can use joystick up and down to navigate songs like in walkman. so its not of much use

i converted my brothers CID52 k810i to k800 r8bf003. i applied the quick access patch using setool2lite.
now when i wanna apply patches to it using jdflasher, it gives me this:

i use jdflasher for patching my k800 r8bf003 CID53 without any problems but it is giving this problem for CID52.
any help?

Sounds like its forgotten how to read the command <ldr>(loader file)</ldr> which should open up Bflash (Im assuming thats the qa2020 script)

I would try using <cmd3c> where it says <ldr> but its up to you.

i think u r suggesting to edit the qa2020.xml. but i am unfamiliar with that.

Was it the qa2020.xml script you was using? If so I will upload an edited one that might work. Make a backup of yours in case something goes wrong.
