The following pictures are supposed to show Satio's camera in different situations. Keep in mind: those pictures were taken with pre-production soft-/hardware. They give an idea of how Satio's camera will take pictures once it is available in Q4/2009.

There awful quality can't belive there worse than the c905's, even less detail i didn't think that was possible, i guess it's the same sensor as the c905 just with more megapixels hence the worse result, when these phone cams reach 20megapixels you won't even be able to tell what the photographed object is anymore due to all the lost detail.

To true... but it would be really nice to see it compete against a proper camera from the same company. I remember how the K850 kicked T300's arse

The sony w290 isnt much better, has a 1/2.3" cdd sensor with 12mp , satio is probley 1/2.5" cmos with 12mp , the w290 has a smaller aperture than most the other digicams at 3.3 generally it's 2.8 so getting a decent lower light pic can't be easy, satio has a larger aperture at 2.8. the T300 is slightly better at 1/2.3" sensor with 10megapixels but has a even smaller aperature of 3.5. If you check t300 sample pics here: http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/T300/T300A7.HTM , your understand why it got beat by a phone.

The shot of the MacBook Air and the Kindle doesn't look too bad, enough detail although it does have it's fair share of noise, and there is a hint of purple fringing but then again there's no blotching anything horribly bad. -------------------- |
