... and Ix! Myself, Dyce, Mizzle, Nightblade, Ix, and MR are working on Mobiwoo as a general mobile tech blog.

What's happening with the USEB then?
I know Mobiwoo is a general phone/tech blog but it seems like the two projects overlap.. -------------------- |

I asked that yesterday afternoon M-R knows his stuff, and Scotsboy has his head screwed on correctly, so i wish them the best of British with this project. @Willi were on the same wavelength here mate -------------------- Mobile-Review chief administrator, i know everything there is to know about mobile phones, and anyone who's anyone in this game is a mate of mine!!

QUOTE I know that Satio is still in early beta, but I really found it slow and cumbersome. In what way was it slow? All the videos I've seen of it made it seem relatively speedy and responsive. -------------------- |

@ wierdwilli
Quite simply, the screen although visibly brilliant just didn't like it when there was the slightest grease smudge. When flicking through pictures in albums sometimes it just didn't recognize the inputs, which for the moment I am happy to put down to it being in beta. My absolute fustration was when in the Internet browser to zoom a page you get this annoying zoom bar on the right, it was at this point the rep kept pointing out that there will be a stylus on chain like thing attached to the phone, to which I replied "and where is it now?", next subject ensued. I promise you, if you have ever handled an iPhone you will be disappointed, I certainly won't argue the credits of it's features but the UI is just not good enough yet. I hope this answers your question :-) -------------------- ![]() In reference to the recent UFO crashing into a wind turbine up't north, suspected "an ultrasecret robot stealth aircraft project hinted at by MoD"; "El Reg rang the MoD for clarification as to what material it has which could be classified as more secret than top secret, but a spokesman said: "That's so secret it's beyond above top secret, I'm afraid." ®" |

Yep answers that query for me, thanks.
Now you've moved onto the browser, isn't it a bit of a strange move not to enable the touch screen on Aino for web viewing? I know I've been confused with the whole device so far, but that really seems a bit foolish. This post has been edited by weirdwilli: 2009-05-30 19:47 -------------------- |

Apple have patented multi-touch however companies seem to have simply ignored that, that Zune HD interface video floating around looks amazing, and if incorporated into 'pink' then I think it could easily take off.
Aino's touch screen only works in camera and media unfortunately. -------------------- |

I hope this answers your question :-) It didn't answer my twice asked question, which make me ponder why certain people are being so coy about it -------------------- Mobile-Review chief administrator, i know everything there is to know about mobile phones, and anyone who's anyone in this game is a mate of mine!!
