Our pals over at our new affiliate site, Mobiwoo, were also attending the London event yesterday. So they had a play with all 3 handsets - namely the Satio, the Aino and the Yari - and took some photos as well. Hit the links below to see what I'm talking about. After fondling the phones last night, my fav without a doubt would be Aino. Yes the Satio is the high end, to be honest because it's based on symbian I'm not really fond of it. Too many clicks in the menu to get any where, no gestures like pinch because it's not multi-touch. There were some clever little additions to the standard Symbian build, but I just found that because I'm used to my iPhone I probably don't find it as intuitive.
So being skeptical like I am, I asked to see some proper promo pics taken and printed from the former Idou handset, and I can say that they are good (especially for a product that is still in early beta), but still could see that they were taken on a camera with a very small lens. Aberrations were massively improved but still noticeable, bearing in mind the print out must have been A3 and on some sort of glossy plastic nearly half a center meter thick, and definitely printed that day as it was still sticky. Despite Yari having this neat trick about the facing camera, I think the thing that stands out for me from last night would have to be a combination of wireless sync'ing by dock and the playstation bit for Aino. Seeing it and playing with it, all I can say is very very impressive. I'm not going to talk too much about it here, but I will be posting an article on my blog on Mobiwoo later on in the day so stay tuned -------------------- ![]() In reference to the recent UFO crashing into a wind turbine up't north, suspected "an ultrasecret robot stealth aircraft project hinted at by MoD"; "El Reg rang the MoD for clarification as to what material it has which could be classified as more secret than top secret, but a spokesman said: "That's so secret it's beyond above top secret, I'm afraid." ®" |

Aino seems to have some features from the PSP (like the menu), cool! when are these phones going to be released?

You might want to put that in a quote or code scroll box.
Sounds good though, shame about the lack of BestPic. -------------------- |

Kinda boring video for a good phone .... it specifies the audience the phone is aiming for, but I think an abstract video would have been better.
Is it me ... or does it look like the phone not display the Album name in the Now Playing Mode ..... -------------------- QUOTE Xperia X10 is amazing! Of course, all phones were pointless before the X10. I don't know why Bell even bothered. |

I'm a little confused as to the relationship twixt se-nse and Mobiwoo, did they have separate representation at the SE launch, or was it simply Dyce wearing two hats
