If you want to use RED firmware you'll have to convert the EROM to RED first. You need a service cable for that.

see, i read a lot of tutorials and topics out there when this phone was still on k750 brown cid 49 firmware about converting it to red with dcu60. it said it couldn't be done. could anybode, please, give me some links to a tutorial or something? i know brown cid 36 can easily be changed to red with dcu60 cable and jdflasher but i'm not sure about brown 49.

You cant flash red firmware to a brown phone (well, you can, but you will end up with a dead phone)
And yes you can: using JD flasher And please do not double post: thats what the edit button is for -------------------- Downloads for w810 (and blackice accoustics for db201x) | Peters V2 acoustics (db2020 only) | Mini guide and download for flash drivers REST file guide for setool2lite | se-nse a-win lounge | Signature rules: READ THEM!
