K850i Mods Questions Options

Can some one please answer these questions about modding the k850i. Can i add...

1.)smile shutter
2.)smart contrast
3.)games section in the media player
4.)walkman 3.0
5.)special walkman equalisers
6.)updated menu icons e.g main menu layout, rotate, list etc
7.)Conversation app in messages

Thanks for the replies, yes or no answers are fine, any links possible to any mod would be great help

3) You can add the games icon in your media menu, but it won't work.
4) You can indeed add a Walkman logo to your media skin, but that won't give you SensMe and Shake Control

Thanks for quick response.

I would of though the conversation app in the messages section would be available because anyone who has the c905 can update there phone and this is added, so i would of though it would be easier to extract?

Yeah, but I would hope releases a FW that fixes the restarting and BROD problems of K850 first . Then they can think about adding new features.

Besides, you may have read about the A2 patching program, jjpatcher? This doesn't work on K850, so you can't patch the conversation function to it.

there has to be a firmware upgrade with java FX i think... So maybe there will be a new firmware after all...

The videos previewing Java FX contained one with a person using K850... maybe that means something...

A quick note regarding "special walkman equalisers ", Equalizer values in K850 are same as walkman phones. they can be changed as well.

I think he's referring to the ClearAudio equalizers

Hmmm.... That may be possible too if we get our hands on the values and use a patch or in case of K850 customize_upgrade script...

or does Clear Audio use any other type of eq values???
Never used a wk3.0 phone. prefer Cyber-shot ones...

The ClearAudio equalizer gives images to the presets, but my W595 doesn't sport it, so I don't know too much about it .

I prefer the Walkman brand, I use my phones as MP3 players since I have a D90 at home for pictures

thats what i thought but still hope for the best... W810's R4EK--- came pretty late... Moreover SE says there's a newer version of K850's firmware that is not present on SEUS.
(Could they be referring to R1FA037? No idea...)

It is . However, some people reported it as more stable than R1FA035, but I personally think it's a placebo effect

yes you can mod k850i, i have a k850i and i have mod it.. im using a2uploader..

i've change all my icon my main menu and the icons..

Yeah. It's true I have about 23 diffrent menus and a lot of patches. I am using A2Uploader. The 19.09.2009 version.
