I tried flashing my G705 to a W705/W715 using the CDA trick however it didn't work. Instead, I got the G705 Euro firmware and now I need to change it back to the Hong Kong firmware SEUS won't let me. I'd love to update the firmware myself using A2uploader but I can't seem to find the custpack anywhere. Can someone help me please?

You can't crossflash with seus as it identifies the phone by the imei to flash w715 you have to pay to use wotan server.
You can download W715 firmware here that you can flash with a2uploader http://rghost.net/122854 but its an old version, or to change back to G705 Hong Kong change your CDA to 1216-0287 |

Thank you! I wasn't able to try it earlier because I was at school. If I flash it to W715 firmware, there's only the NORDIC language available right? How would I do that via A2Uploader? -------------------- G705 flashed to W715 R1GA030

Also, I'd like to ask. How do I delete some of the locked files of my phone? There are many applications that I don't need and some of the built-in ringtones such as Sony Ericsson won't be used, so I want to delete those to free up some space.

They're to be found using A2Uploader I couldn't find the files, that's the thing. I spent a good half and hour looking for it with no success. This post has been edited by geokilla: 2009-04-02 23:17 -------------------- G705 flashed to W715 R1GA030
