Okay so i received a text as ya do, picked my phone up to read it and then as i was reading it the whole thing froze-still and stayed that way, backlight lit and everything... I took the battery out and then put it back in again and i find that the phone just won't turn on... I checked the Power Button and i noticed that whenever i press it the light does one of two things randomly each time, sometimes the red LED stays on for around 2 seconds and the other times it flashes red around 4 times or so i think really quickly...

I tried connecting it to XS++ with the holding C method and i get nothing at all, however when i try the 2+5 method XS++ detects it but then stops on this;

01:13:11| XS++ v3.1 (Darwin) Ready !
01:13:11| Executed on Microsoft Windows XP
01:13:16|
01:13:16| Attempting to open the interface...
01:13:16|
01:13:16| TURN OFF PHONE!
01:13:16| Hold 'C' button on phone and connect phone NOW.
01:13:16| You have 30 seconds...
01:13:16|
01:13:22| Baseband ID: 9900
01:13:22| Protocol Version: 3.1

and then my computer makes the device disconnected noise all in the space of around 2 or 3 seconds...

pleasee help me this phone is the best phone i've ever had... And i'll do whatever it takes...

If someone could just make some sense of this behaviour for me i'd be so grateful... also explain a bit more about this 2+5 method, since i've never used it before until now...

Any input will be much appreciated... Thank you!

No no i made it like a couple days ago...

Your the first kind of input i've really had lol, since nobody else seems to want to add any input lol...

It's nott the battery as i've left it on over night and tried a new one in it. After reading extensively up on this problrm i've managed to come to the conclusion it's my EROM, at least thats what i thought, i did an "EROM Update" on KulanKendi Client but alas, still the same problem... So it's looking like a power problem, possibly battery connections?

Sucks big time though =[ I just don't get why it randomly froze out of no where and then started doing this... =[

Thanks again...

If the phone is very dead, take it back to where you bought it from or call Sony Ericsson and pretend your phone died (well you don't have to pretend, just don't say anything about custom firmware)
Usually works.
Sorry if i'm no help.
