Call Volume...
You mean:
1. Ringtone call volume,
or
2. Volume of speaker in which you can hear someone when calling?

Hey thanks a ton.....the volume increased only a bit though...but it indeed is better than earlier. Also the sound is a little distorted. Still....the volume is higher..........though i have no idea why its still not loud enough....cos ive read in threads that u literally have to lower the volume in order to stop ur ears from hurting......anyways i think i can live with this....Once again....thanks thumbsup.gif

Just unzip it, and upload it to IFS/SETTINGS/ACOUSTIC

Let me guess: you connected your phone to the pc in file transfer mode.

First, read this and download the flash drivers: http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtop...mp;#entry385493

Then read this: http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtopic=23459

I did try using the XS++ but and when i use options FSX and click START FSX i get disconnected with the following message mentioned below

02:39:22| you must press the 'Shutdown' button
02:39:24| Sorry, your phone is NOT SUPPORTED
02:39:24| Error: FSX failed.

I even tried by checking the options CUSTOMIZE FILE SYSTEM but i don't see options for phone model W580i.

Further i have attached the screenshot for your reference.

Please let me know if have to use some other version of XS++

Thanks in advance

Your phone is CID53 and so is not supported by XS on windows. Use FAR + JDFlasher instead. wink.gif

I had the same problem with my W580i. I also googled a lot for the problem
To my surprise I found a very simple Low tech RESOLUTION to my problem.

If you open the Front panel of the phone and see the other side , you will find a small piece of paper (or some other material) that has metallic coating with 1 hole. In my case it was slightly moved and was not aligning with the speaker. Adjusted the orientation and Issue Resolved !

Something worth trying.
