It's kind of strange. Let me tell you how it went first:
Yesterday I turned my phone (W610i) off for the night (as I always do). In the morning I tried to turn it on, but nothing happened. No lights are flashing, screen does not turn on, nothing. The battery should be at about 75% charge. When I connect the charger nothing happens. As dar as I remember I updated the firmware with SEUS about half a year ago, uploaded some flash themes and a camdriver. But the phone worked without problems until today. Try to flash main, if that doesn't work then it could be EROM. If flashing doesn't help then send it off to Sony Ericsson Service Centre.

oh and btw you need jdflasher software to flash ur phone as its cid 53 now .

ok, I will try to flash it with jdflasher.
Maybe that will help, as the SEUS tool said it could not reflash my phone with the current firmware. |

because I couldn't find the correct firmware anywhere I tried to use SEUS again.
This time it worked and I can now use the phone again. Naturally everything I had on the phone is gone now (contacts, etc.) ... and I have to go back to my 2 month old backup with lot's of outdated numbers. Still better than having to send the phone to a remote location and waiting for it to be shipped back. |
