W850i Flashing Problem Options

Basicly my mate asked me to flash his w850i for him so i thought why not if i did my k750i and w810i. I got it off him and then connected it to XS++ it picked it up fine and told me the CID and what firmware was on it etc. I downloaded the firmware and started flashing it, i waited till it finished and then disconnected the phone and let the setup complete. Now my problem is that after doing the setup when i choose to start the phone it crashes and doesn't respond so i have to take the battery out to turn it off, doing this then causes the WSOD when trying to turn it on. I've flashed it about 4 or 5 times now and i have tried different firmware but its just been the same. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?
