VIDEO TUTORIAL
XS++

A2Uploader

I'm gonna use my XperienceXperia theme for this tutorial.

A lil files you need.
SET Flash Menu
A2Uploader/XS++ 3.1(depending on your phone model)
A theme(.thm)
A flash menu of your choice(.swf)

First, Unzip the SET Flash Menu and put it in your program files.
Second, Right click a theme you want to add flash menu with.
Select This : Right click -> Send to ->SET Flashmenu

a Theme.xml will appear, After it appears, close SET FlashMenu first
See the first 4th line, there is a <Desktop_style Type="File" Source="ChangeMe.swf"/>, Change the "ChangeMe.swf" to a swf flash menu that you want.
Example: <Desktop_style Type="File" Source="XperienceXperia.swf"/>

Third, Once edited, SAVE YOUR NOTEPAD

Make sure it's saved. Once save, close the notepad.

Shut down your phone, Run XS++/A2Upolader and connect your phone to XS++/A2Uploader.
How to use XS++ for new users tongue.gif

After you connected it, Upload your .swf file to tpa/preset/system/desktop/flash

Once done, disconnect your phone from XS++/A2Uploader.

On your phone, and connect it to the computer again(mass storage/media transfer mode)

Put the theme that you edited with into your phone

Disconnect your phone, select the theme and you're done! you got a flash menu tongue.gif

Method 2:

Run Theme creator, Tool->Edit XML and add the <Desktop_style Type="File" Source="flash menu here.swf"/>
Close the Theme Creator.

Shut down your phone, Run XS++/A2Upolader and connect your phone to XS++/A2Uploader.

Method 3:

Download tugzip.

Rename the theme from .thm to .tar and extract, manually edit the theme.xml file and then use tugzip to compress is as a tar again, then rename to .thm =)

Neither of the three ways work for me :S

Or well.. For part three, see if this is right :

Renamed from Theme.thm to Theme.tar, extracted Theme.tar with TugZip, added the FlashMenu.swf to the extracted folder, added the line
CODE
<Desktop_style Type="File" Source="FlashMenu.swf"/>
to the
***.xml file and saved it. Compressed the folder "Theme" with TugZip to Theme.tar, and renamed it to Theme.thm.

Nothing happens when i use it on my W595, what did i do wrong ?

It shows the right theme in the menu, but when i try to go to Messages (or anything else) nothing happens, it just stays at the menu screen ?

Need more info ? If so, i'll describe it better tomorrow wink.gif

It must be a wrong flash menu, it's not compatible with your phone.

For W595, you have to use FL 2.1 swf files; you probably have used 1.1 swf's.

Yeap, there are specific type of flash menu your phone can only use, all the 12 icon must match in order for the flash menu to work.
