S500i @ W580 Options

Hi to all, i have a s500i and i flashed it to a w580, everything went more than fine. The thing is, that my headphones broke, so i bought one from a friend that has one with radio. Now the radio enters (before it asked for the antena) but i can't hear anything... i know everywhere i saw said that you can´t gain the radio, but isn´t the antena on the headphones?

Nono, they are not fake, they are SE originals but from another phone, from the W200.

Another thing, i also noticed that the frequency only moves from 87.1 to 90.0, although the bar mesures from 87.1 to 100.sth...

all I can say is that w200i is a low low end phone so maybe that's the deal... it comes with cheap headphones instead of hmp-70

In my phones (w300i, w580i, w910i) the radio reaches from 87-108

Okey, thanks for the responses, but my question was more oriented to the chance of actually using the w580 radio on the S500i only by changing the headophones (let's say the hmp-70), or if this only permits the radio app to open.

Flashing your s500 to a w580 You don't gain a working fm radio it won't work whatever headset you use.

s500i doesn't have a radio transmitter nor an accelerometer.
