The Sony Ericsson G705 features an integrated GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 2.4-inch QVGA display, a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash, media player, 128MB of internal memory, Memory Stick Micro (M2) card slot, and runs on the A2 software platform. Feature set looks nice but still design-wise, why does sony refuse to change, even nokia's n-series phones design change to that black silky look.

Because sony afraids they might copy Nokia or other brand , just take the "gallant" samsung, they copied nokia too.

The min required resolution in camera phones will keep on increasing. 5 mp phones will soon start dominating the mid segment. megapixels really don't matter that much, but tell that to the common folk and they'll give you weird stares. Am speaking from experience

I actually wanna get this phone. My W580 has been giving me so much problem snow....stupid flex membrane..
Is it just me, or do Sony Ericsson sliders look alike now...? W580 is similar to W595 and W760. G705 and W705 are a bit similar to the W910 as well. -------------------- G705 flashed to W715 R1GA030

Am speaking from experience Yup I know, just that SE have stuck with 2MP for a pretty long time while Nokia and Samsung have upped it a bit. I'm clever enough to know that higher resolution doesn't necessarily mean a better photo, but 3-5MP's are the sweet spot of you ask me.

waiting for something like x2.  with a 800mhz+ processor and 256mb ram and 5mp hsdpa wifi phone with 3inch screen. and should be wm6.5 with walkman and 16gb flash disk expecting too much for just upto 250USD.  |

You can get most of that already with the X1, but not at that price of course The X1 actually has almost 800 MHz of processing power already. The chipset includes two processors; one ARM11 at 528 MHz, and one ARM9 at 256 MHz, which equals a total of 784 MHz processing power. The X1 also comes with 256 MB RAM memory as well as 128 MB dedicated video RAM. HSDPA, as well as HSUPA, and WiFi is of course also included. So is the 3-inch high resolution screen. 16 gigs of storage memory? Well, I guess you can just buy a large memory card

Of course but i need 5mp cam with strong flash, and stereo speaker(does it have) Other than that its pretty good phone.
