Sony Ericsson now gives you the opportunity to become Sony Ericsson Official Photographer 2009. If you've got a hidden photographer in you, you should definitely take part of Sony Ericsson's newly launched C905 photography competition at Flickr.

The five individuals that get the most 'Favs' will each receive a C905 to keep. These five will then have to continue in the competition only using the C905, and taking pictures of motives selected by Sony Ericsson. The five will have one day for each motive. The individual with the most combined 'Favs' will win the title of Sony Ericsson Official Photographer 2009.

To enter the competition you have to be located in the UK, either have a Flickr account or register one, and upload a 'never before published online' portrait shot taken by you. You must also tag your photo with the following tags: sony ericsson, c905, photography competition.

Too bad this is UK only. I would have loved to take part of it.

More details about the competition, as well as many beautiful competition entries, over at Flickr.

Hmm...

Might get involved if I have time before the 5th.

edit: bah, not a portraits person - too difficult finding someone photogenic enough.

It's portrait shots only to enter anyway.
Shame, I've got a few of the Forth Bridge that would possibly do quite well.
