Recently, I got some bussiness deal going bad because one of my friends, that backstabber secretly looking into my messages when I wasn't near my phone (k850). It reminds me of Nokia and Motorola had advanced lock (Nokia at least password keylock), specially Motorola which has lock for sms, settings, and media files. I don't know the reason why SE didn't implemented it ( I think they should, let's write a petition LOL). ^^

Anyway, out of curiousity, I was trying to see if there's any solution to this (on the internet, including here) for an SE phone. But I didn't find the right one for me. Then I realise the A200 platform has a feature for moving messages between phone memory and memory card. I move some of my message to memory card (using microSD here), and then proceeding to the my idea. I notice A200 Messaging were scanning messages in memory card, right after we put it on the slot. This method requires you to take the memory card out. In the end, I just wanna share with fellow SE users here (maybe someone has done it). I think it might come handy. =)

* Caution, I'm not responsible for anything happens with your data. Always backup your data before use this method. This method only works in SE A200 phone (db3150) with Moving Messages feature. Use this method at your own risk *

From PC

Hide
1. Copy your selected messages to memory card [Menu >> Messaging >> Manage messages]
2. Take out the memory card from phone's slot.
3. Put it in some card reader.
4. Open your memory card's drive in the PC
5. Go to x:/system/ [x is your card's drive]
6. Rename the messaging folder into something else like = msg
7. Put the card back to phone's slot.
8. Check the Messaging, voila your selected message has gone.

Unhide
1. Take out the memory card from phone's slot.
2. Put it in some card reader.
3. Open your memory card's drive in the PC
4. Go to x:/system/ [x is your card's drive]
5. Delete the current messaging folder (the phone made a new messaging folder on memory card after we put it in phone's memory)
5. Rename the first messaging folder (msg in this case) back to messaging
7. Put the card back to phone's slot.
8. Check the Messaging, voila your hidden message is back.

*Best way when there's no PC around*

From the Phone via Java Application

Hide
1. Copy your selected messages to memory card [Menu >> Messaging >> Manage messages]
2. Download MobyExplorer, install it on the phone.
3. Open the app [Menu >> Organizer >> Applications].
4. Go to memory card (e:)
5. Highlight the system folder.
6. Choose Option and then Properties.
7. Unmark the Hidden attribut and then OK.
8. Enter then system folder (e:/system/).
9. Rename the messaging folder into something else like = msg
10. Take out the memory card from phone's slot (hold for about 30 seconds).
11 Put the card back to phone's slot (hold for about 30 seconds while phone's system reads the card).
12. Check the Messaging, voila your selected message has gone.

Unhide
1. Open MobyExplorer [Menu >> Organizer >> Applications].
2. Go to memory card (e:)
3. Highlight the system folder.
4. Choose Option and then Properties.
5. Unmark the Hidden attribut and then OK.
6. Enter then system folder (e:/system/).
7. Rename current messaging folder (the phone made a new messaging folder on memory card after we put it in phone's memory) into something else like = fakemsg (it can't be deleted because it's been using by the phone]
8. Rename the first messaging folder (msg in this case) back to messaging
9. Take out the memory card from phone's slot (hold for about 30 seconds).
10. Put the card back to phone's slot (hold for about 30 seconds while phone's system reads the card).
11. Check the Messaging, voila your hidden message is back.

PS:
- After you take and put the card, let the phone's system to read the memory slot.
- You can always delete the new (fake) messaging folder which the phone creates when it reads memory card, from PC using card reader.
- If I posted in the wrong forum, please move it. Thanks

Yes, cos your phone is db2020 (W580i etc): this is for db3150 (k850 etc) which has not been cracked for patching (yet)

Can someone give me this patch (for CID36/SE V800)? And if there is also a patch to hide porn private files, I'd be really happy to have it.
