Meant for you guys to extract your FS easily.

Uses SEFStool4 and main2raw from Darkmen

As mentioned in Readme.txt,

Complete batch file written solely by KrX

Part of this package contains executables written by other authors.
SEFStool4.exe
- Written by Darkmen
- Version 4.7 released 28 Oct 2006

main2raw.exe
- Written by Darkmen
- Version 4.1 released 25 Oct 2006

Usage:
Drag 'n' Drop .fbn file into extractfs.bat
Follow on-console instructions

To ensure a smooth process:
Make sure the FS is not corrupted
You have sufficient disk space (Approx 4*size of FS file)
You downloaded a complete package, consisting of 4 files:
extractfs.bat
SEFStool4.exe
main2raw.exe
Readme.txt

Changelog

v0.2
- Fixed directories with spaces producing errors
- A new explorer window will popup showing contents of extracted FS
- Added changelog to readme

Pretty darn simple to use.

Credits for executables goes to Darkmen. I only did the BATCH and README.

Isn't a tutorial - its a script.

To put the whole instructions simply,

drag 'n' drop your .fbn into extractfs.bat

Done.

Noticed a restriction.

You have to put the package and FSes into a folder in one of your root drives. e.g. D:\ExtractFS\

Darkmen's applications doesn't seem to accept that long string of characters.


I'll try to work on a workaround, either by mounting a temporary virtual drive or by only using %~nx1.

I'm having some difficulties understanding the limits of darkmen's application, SEFStool4.exe

All I know is that it can't have too many characters in the directory that you specify as the parameter, but even once I mount a virtual drive (using SUBST, e.g. subst X: D:\Language), it tells me that it can list out the variables, but once it gets to the actual extracting, the program crashes (with no error message)...

e.g. now the command line for SEFStool4.exe is

CODE

start /D "%~dp0" SEFStool4.exe X:\A.raw

If it works for "D:\Language\A.raw", I don't see why "X:\A.raw", being shorter in length, will not work.

Any one has any idea on the cause?
