K850i Camera on K810i Options

Just gotta tell you all, i got a broken K850i, disassambled it, and it turned out the camera module fit into my K810i, i plugged it in, NO it doesn't fit, just a test.

Turned on the phone, opened camera. and guess what, i get clear picture!. A bit laggy, but my guess is its the drivers. maybe it will work with a 5MP camera on a K810i?..who knows, atleast it turned on and gave me picture! just had to post it, im out!.

well, pics with the camera, or of the camera module being connected? cause i've been trying to make it fit by wrapping and :censored:ing a lil with the cable. but maybe if i make it. Cause my desk looks like, wow...

Ok, i was a little bit to hard with the module, so now it doesn't work, 2 cobber wires got disconnected in the module, and they are to hard to connect again...but trust me, the K850i cam module works with K810i, but i dont know if it will zoom or focus, cause i never got to take a pic..

Too sad it wouldn't fit, well, i made it, but some wires got disconnect when i tried to reassemble it, cause of to much stretching in the cable..

Can you stop Lieing it wont work diffrent Camera model and so it need's a diffrent camera driver and k810 doesn't support it even when you change the camera driver

Oh, and how do you know? DID YOU TRY?......

K850i Camera Module use the same Cable as the K810i Camera Module, and if you don't believe me, try it your self.

I got a clear picture, and that's for sure!, i wish i didn't mess that much with the module, to make it fit. Atleast then i could have taken a picture of it all, and you would have seen it yourself!

I recommend you keep you mouth shut until you know for sure, cause i DID try, and i KNOW what i saw.

I can take a picture with the Cam module plugged in, but then id have to disassabmle the K810i and plug it in,
no point as the K850i cam module is broken and wont start.

As i wrote, i managed to break the K850i Cam Module after testing if it was working(without re-assamble).

2 Cobber wires got disconnected when i tried pushing it into place(in the k810i). and now it doesn't even give me picture.

It's not a lie, i could post a pic of it, but as the module was broken, my curiosity told me to disassamble the module itself to, but as you wish, i got the lens, and some parts from the garbage...

AND btw, just to inform you all, WHY the hell would i post if i was lying? it's up to you guys if you want to believe it or not, but it's true, so please * if you don't believe it. and go buy a K850i and a K810i if you don't already own one, and disassamble them and TRY. I WISH i took the pictures before, but as i was pushing the battery to the plugs and holding things together to check if the camera was working, i couldn't reach for the camera.

And then i tried to make it fit when i saw it was working(amazed,yes) so i could take pictures of and with it..

no working class person in there rite mind will have or want 2 spend the kind of money u would need 2 c IF that experiment works mate had a quick check and if u bought both fones 2nd hand u will still pay about $500au so if u no anywhere 2 get a dead k850 let me no and i MIGHT try it

First of all, this was to INFORM people that it DOES work, well, it turns on and gives you picture, but i don't know more, as i managed to break it, like i said. but to the point, lets say you got a K810i and your buddy is gonna throw his K850i cause it's broken. Now, do you understand the useless point im trying to give you non-believers?

Next time i find out things like this, i might as well keep it secret. as some people loves to ruin the truth. like a man trying to tell the world he saw an U.F.O. but no one believe it.

I think it's a shame that he didn't post any pictures while the k850 camera was connected but I don't think he has anything to gain, unless he is working for sony ericsson and wants to boost their sales, by lying.

i didnt say i dont believe u mate i stated that its a very expensive mod but if i come across a k850 i will try it and if it works back u up if not i wont
