Sony Ericsson also showcased a Bluetooth speaker at the special meeting, we talked about earlier today. While the attendants were not allowed to take pictures of it, they were allowed to tell the world about it - and they sure have! MobileCowboys posted a drawing of how it looks, and also posted some info on it. Shiny Shiny also posted a rather nice post about it, which was spotted by GoldenFace at Esato. Here's his sum-up of the post:

  • Wireless Audio

  • 2.1 audio system

  • Sub-Woofer

  • OLED Display

  • Can pair up to 5 devices

  • FM Radio

  • Bass & Treble controls

  • Touch controls

The name is confidential and the attendants were not told what it is.

If it's like other bluetooth speakers, then it'll be compatible with any/all A2DP-capable handsets.

Shame, I'd much rather see a pair of separate bluetooth speakers (ie unconnected, no wire between them )that can be used in stereo.

Knowing me, i'd manage to loose one of them though. lol.gif

I'm contemplating getting some bluetooth speakers instead of some good old MPS-70's for when I get my C902...

I'd recommend 60's over 70's. The wiring is alot nicer on 'em!

Had the 60's at first but the huge connector annoyed me so sold them to my brother and got some 70's which I was happy with until I sold them to a mate.

Well, if they did it properly, it'd be like a pair of MBS-100s.
If you lost one, the other would work as a mono speaker or you'd be able to buy a single speaker as a replacement.
