Hi,

I got a w850i that didn't boot at all. When I tried to power it on the power led was just blinking 6 times. The phone wasn't recognized at all by SETool or XS++ when I connected it to the pc with holding 'c' or '2+5'
I googled about 6x blinking and found a solution that involves desoldering the internal backup battery. Well I did.
Now the phone is being recognized in SETool when I plug it in with 2+5.

Well.. thank you very much for the replies... tried every suggestion without much luck.
I even managed to write new fs and main.
Couldn't update the EROM as it doesn't let me (SeTool Lite).

The problem still remains. I opened teh mobile once again and looked at each possible error source.
The flex cable is kinda messed up at some point. I believe it isn't the solution to my problem but well I'll let the pro's decide... so... any further suggestions? As I said before... any help is appreciated, I don't really need the mobile but I'm already trying my luck for one year straight, so why give up now laugh.gif

This won't work as XS++ 3.1 won't recognize the phone at all... 'c' and '2+5' don't work with XS++
I tried converting the phone to CID52 with the WRITE SCRIPT function the main problem remains.
