S500i Problem, Red Blinking Lights |

I tried flashing my S500i to W580i, but something went wrong and now my phone won't boot up.
I believe it is an EROM problem. I tried using XS++, but i can't hold down the 'c' button. When i hold down 'c' and put the cable in, the phone just flashes a red light. However, when i tried using SeTool2, it asks me to push 2+5 and plug in the cable, and that works. But when i try to unlock/repair, it stays there for a long time and doesn't give any results. I also used KK and it apparently fixed the EROM, but i still can't get the phone to boot properly. And since i can't hold down the 'c' button for any functions, i can't flash any firmware. |

Battery empty?! it flashes when the battery is empty aswell...

battery is fine
i used my brother's w580i battery that's fully charged as well i was reading about the DFU-60 cable is that the same cable that's included with the phone? It only has 4 pinouts. |

The one that is included with the phone is DCU-60.

my mistake, i have the DCU-60 cable then.
i still can't get it to recognize. i'm puzzled why i can't hold down 'c' and get it to recognize. It works when i push the 2 and 5 key down and connect the cable. It gets recognized by KK, SeTool2, and XS++, but they mention something about wrong boot mode and I can't recover anything This post has been edited by maiku: 2008-08-31 19:05 |

seems that wotan doesn't like anonymous logins anymore
i bought a login, but didn't get a response from them as yet and this is fairly urgent is anyone willing to share their login? I just need to get my EROM fixed, that's all. |

You can't use C because your EROM is dead.
2+5 allows your phone to connect to your computer for fixing bad damages, like EROM.
