Use FAR and jdflasher, there are plenty of guides in Tutorials section.

Yes i was looking at the jdflasher idea, but i cant see anyone suggesting that its compatible with db2020 cid53? if so, can you point me to where it says this is possible?

Oh, loads. Its one of the main parts of phone modding. smile.gif

You can change graphics on your phone that themes can't (e.g. Battery, Signal icons; Radio skins)

You can also remove some irritating things (e.g. 'Profile Changed: bla bla bla '; 'Warning: Loud volumes can affect hearing bla bla bla'; etc.)

Or you can speed up things, making you move faster through menus, faster long filename scrolling, faster fast-forwarding of tracks, etc. (Oh yes, there's even one where you can minimize the bluetooth transfer window)

You can also add new things altogether ( ElfPack! )

ElfPack allows you to run 'applications', much like Windows runs .exe files, ElfPack allows the phone to run .elf files.

These elfs can do loads, like tell you which radio tower you're attached to, and change profiles according to that, or display your estimated location based on that. (They call it MiniGPS)

Another example is if you have a Slider phone, which you have. It can playback a mp3 file when you slide your phone open or close.

Or you can have one where it shows a menu on your standby screen, etc.
