I had modded this phone to a w580i a while ago, everything has been find when today my friend took out my battery, and when i put it back in there was just a red light flashing, i did a bit of research and people told me its the erom or gdfs, well id love to fix it but none of the programs seem to be able to read it, using c or 2+5 :S
XSS just hangs
setool says i have a fatal error reading gdfs and wont repair or flash the main etc
what can i do?

edit: setool error is:
Will backup GDFS now.

Can you connect to XS++? Try doing that.

If XS++ output gives you "n/a" everywhere, then reflash your MAIN firmware (it has then gone corrupt).

It maybe like catch22 you cant charge the battery in your phone because the charge in your battery is too low to powerup the firmware correctly and make it possible for it to charge. The only way I can see to elliminate this possibility is to try and charge you battery in another phone, or borrow a fully charged battery and try that. That may kick start the firmware again. its just a possibility smile.gif
