I had modded this phone to a w580i a while ago, everything has been find when today my friend took out my battery, and when i put it back in there was just a red light flashing, i did a bit of research and people told me its the erom or gdfs, well id love to fix it but none of the programs seem to be able to read it, using c or 2+5 :S
XSS just hangs setool says i have a fatal error reading gdfs and wont repair or flash the main etc what can i do? edit: setool error is: Will backup GDFS now. ChipID:9900,EMP protocol:0301 BOOTROM MODE DETECTED Speed:921600 OTP LOCKED:1 CID:51 PAF:1 IMEI:35908501144475 CERT:N/A FLASH CID:52 COLOR:RED LDR:061201 1314 HANCXC1329129_DB2020_FLASHLOADER_R2A005 Flash ID check:897E Flash props sent ok CSloader version: 070410 1557 HANCXC1250562_DB2020_CSLOADER_R3A009 loader startup: executed CSloader refused to start GDFS services, error is:29 failed, that is fatal Elapsed:6 secs. Can you connect to XS++? Try doing that.
If XS++ output gives you "n/a" everywhere, then reflash your MAIN firmware (it has then gone corrupt). -------------------- |

hmm do you think then maybe the battery died, because, for starters se gets no signal when trying to connect without it, and second when i put in the charger cord the ligh flashes red once, It maybe like catch22 you cant charge the battery in your phone because the charge in your battery is too low to powerup the firmware correctly and make it possible for it to charge. The only way I can see to elliminate this possibility is to try and charge you battery in another phone, or borrow a fully charged battery and try that. That may kick start the firmware again. its just a possibility -------------------- Bigbyte say ' Dont lose your beginners mind' To a Beginner anything is possible, to an Expert very little is possible |
